1. Link to and study on-line Guide for Writing Greek Letters or study "Guide for Writing Greek Letters" handout.

2. Practice writing the letters of the Greek alphabet using the "Greek Alphabet" handout; write out each capital letter twice; write out each small letter three times. Write in pencil .

3. Consult the "Ancient Greek Sounds" handout.

4. Practice pronouncing the sounds of ancient Greek using UC Berkeley on-line pronunciation guide.

5. Practice pronouncing Greek words using UC Berkeley on-line pronunciation practice (Try to get through all 64 words [Units Three through Eight].).
