1. Read UC Berkeley Accentuation Tutorial on Proclitics (1 page) and Enclitics (6 pages).

2. Read page 1 of Proclitics and Enclitics in Workbook and study the implementation of the rules on page 2. For each example in the Enclitics Table (page 2), fill in the number of the rule it illustrates.

3. Read through Enclitics Practice (workbook). We'll do this in class, but it will be useful if you give it a try on your own first. (You can check your answers by consulting page 2 of the Enclitics Table.)
