Monday class October 9 (Yom Kippur)
meets from 11-11:50, and is a practice session devoted to reviewing
for the Hour Exam on Wednesday, October 11. (The same material will
be covered in Tuesday night's practice session.)
1. Read and translate RG 1h using Vocabulary for Section One H (GVE pp. 19-20); go over the translation several times so that we can move through it quickly in class.
2. Learn vocabulary for 1h using website lists; practice both Greek to English (1h) and English to Greek (1hrev). (Note: There are only 5 vocab words for today; but there are 17 for Friday, so you might want to start learning them now.)
3. Read and learn GVE p. 21 #18, p. 66 #64b (present active indicative and imperative of eimi [be] and eimi [go] ; see GVE pp. 281-82 for imperatives); practice using morphology web site for oida, eimi (be) and eimi (go).
4. Complete Workbook Exercise 10 (eimi
[be], eimi [go]; sentences). Write in
