On the shoulder of this vase, an Attic Black-Figured Hydria of 520-510 BCE, Scythians at either end frame the composition. The one on the left has only the pointed hat, beard, bow and gorytos, and otherwise wears a short tunic (chiton); the one on the right who is running, wears the decorated body suit.

In this representation on an Attic Black-Figured Neck-Amphora of 510-500 BCE, a hoplite and Scythian archer depart for battle together. The Scythian wears a pointed cap and carries a gorytos.

On the interior of this famous Attic Red-Figured Plate of 510-500 BCE, a Scythian archer runs to his left and looks back as he draws an arrow from his gorytos. He is barefoot, but not bearded, and is wearing a a kidaris or Scythian hat.
The same vase appears in RG on page 91, and the Amazon on page 55, who wears Scythian dress, also sports a kidaris.
