The Murder of Aegisthus

Orestes stabs Aegisthus as Electra runs foreward (on the right), attempting to warn him that Clytemnestra (on the left) is approaching with an axe.

Orestes stabs Aegisthus as Electra runs off, perhaps towards Clytemnestra (See the other side of the vase: next image).

Clytemnestra, wielding an axe runs toward the scene on the other side of the vase (see just above) as the herald Talthybius attempts to restrain her.
